A Reflection of the Article "Do I Look lLike Public Enemy Number One?"

In the article, the author disagrees with Miss L aura’s strategy because of what she teaches the students is different from cultural awareness and makes them confused. Even if Miss Laura thinks that she is telling the students the cultural awareness, the students realize some differences just like a boring place, or hair-colors, or skin-colors, instead of information to learn to culture diversity.Therefore, the students fail to learn the lessons. I can understand why the author dislikes to the Cultural Diversity Month and I agree with the author. In fact, the content the teacher teaches the students focus on race and background. The little kids can remark and understand terms that their hair, skin and where their parents come from are different. Therefore, for the children, the kind of teaching method led them to misunderstanding among the ethnic problem.
